Lea Wirtz
Lea Maria Wirtz was born in Berlin in 1991. She received her first musical impulses during her school years from Josianne Straub-Acoulon in Bonn and from Han-An Liu at the Musikhochschule in Cologne. She began her music studies at the UdK Berlin with Marie-Pierre Langlamet and moved on to Francoise Friedrich at the HfMDK in Frankfurt. As part of the Erasmus program, she went to Paris for a semester abroad with Isabelle Moretti at the CNSM. After her Bachelor's degree, she studied again with Ha-An Liu in the Master's program. Additionally, she studied contemporary music with David Smeyers. Lea Maria Wirtz is a prize winner of the competitions Jugend Musiziert, UFAM France, International Felix Godefroide Competition, Lions-Club Cologne and the competition of the German Harp Association. In addition, she won the first prize of the chamber music competition Concours d'Arles.
